Australian players Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh set the record for the third-highest partnership of 206 runs for any wicket in IPL on 17 May 2011. In this match Kings XI Punjab scored 232 in 20 overs. Gilchrist scored a 106 off 55 balls, while Marsh returned not out after scoring 79 off 49 balls. In response, RCB’s team was all-out to just 121 runs in 17 over’s.

Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli (Delhi Daredevils vs RCB In 2012)
RCB captain Kohli, along with Caribbean Storm called Chris Gayle, added 204 highest partnership in ipl 2020 for RCB against Delhi Daredevils on 17 May 2012 at Delhi’s Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium. In 53 balls Virat scored 73 runs and Gayle scored 128 runs in 62 balls. In this match RCB scored 215 runs for 1 wicket, In reply to Delhi could only score 194 runs on 9 wickets.
David Warner, Naman Ojha (Delhi Daredevils vs Deccan Chargers in 2012)
Delhi Daredevils batsmen David Warner and Naman Ojha shared an unbeaten 189-run partnership for the second wicket. With their fiery innings, the two batsmen together established a new record in T20 cricket. Warner hit an unbeaten 109 not out, scoring his second century of IPL-5. Warner hit 10 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. Naman Ojha from the other end also supported Warner. Ojha scored an unbeaten 64 in just 46 balls with the help of 2 fours and 5 sixes.

During the IPL 2019, Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Johnny Bairstow and David Warner registered their names in the IPL’s record book, playing historic centuries innings against RCB. Warner scored an unbeaten 100 from 55 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes. So the second Johnny Bairstow making his debut IPL century hit a stormy inning of 114 runs in 56 balls with 12 fours and 7 sixes. In IPL 10, a pair of Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn has set a new record between Gujarat and Kolkata. Both of them shared a 184-run partnership for the first wicket. Both of them put shots around the stadium during their batting. During this, Lynn scored an unbeaten 93 and Gambhir scored an unbeaten 76. Gambhir and Lynn also broke the record of 167 runs shared by Bangalore’s Tillakaratne Dilshan and Chris Gayle for the first wicket.

The pair of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal set a new record for the first wicket partnership for Punjab, batting brilliantly against the Rajasthan Royals. Both batsmen shared 183 runs of highest partnership in t20 ipl. This is the 53rd pair in IPL history, both opening players with a half-century. Mayank Agarwal scored a brilliant century (106), Mayank hit 7 sixes and 10 fours in his inning. Captain KL Rahul scored 69 runs in 54 balls, hitting 7 fours and 1 six.
Shane Watson, Faf Du Plesis
In IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings opener batsmen Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson shared 181 the highest opening partnership in ipl for the first wicket. This proved to be the largest partnership for CSK in IPL. Shane scored an unbeaten 83 from 53 balls with the help of 11 fours and 3 sixes, while Duplessis scored an unbeaten 87 from 53 balls with the help of 11 fours and 1 six.
Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson
Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson hold the record for the biggest partnership of IPL-11. The pair shared an unbeaten 176-run partnership for the second wicket against Delhi Daredevils in Delhi on 10 May. Dhawan scored 92 runs (not out) and Williamson scored 83 runs (not out).
